Daily Weird News Report

An escaped sheep in Germany found an unusual way to pass the time: it boarded a parked bus and ended up traveling through a facility’s bus-sized car wash. According to reporting by UPI Odd News, the sheep left its pasture and wandered onto the property of regional bus company RVM in Lüdinghausen. The bus it entered had been left unlocked. The animal was discovered when the vehicle’s driver returned to inspect the bus for litter. RVM then contacted local police and a rancher identified as Stefan Naber, whose ownership of the sheep was confirmed by a plastic tag in the animal’s ear. While the sheep waited for Naber to arrive, company officials said it went through the facility’s giant car wash. The animal reportedly stayed calm and cooperative during its brief journey aboard the bus. Naber eventually transferred the sheep to a trailer for transport back home. RVM spokesman Tino Nitsch said employees were pleased by the unexpected passenger and that the sheep would be featured in the company’s next employee magazine. The Coesfeld Police shared details of the episode on social media, along with the bus company, RVM.
