In New York, a pile of dinosaur waste estimated to be around 130 million years old was sold at an auction Wednesday for nearly $1,000.
The buyer was Steve Tsengas, 71, Fairport Harbor, Ohio who owns OurPets, a company that sells products to treat dog and cat waste.
Tsengas placed the winning bid of $960. The dung's pre-auction estimate was $450.
Tsengas said he hoped the dinosaur dung will motivate his employees. He also planned to use them as a marketing tool in the company's booth at trade shows.
